Class Description
This course will explore the chunky and versatile hand of Neuland. By varying the x-height, customizing crossbars, using pen manipulations, adding outlines, and embossing, an artist can easily personalize this hand to make it applicable for almost any purpose. A traditional alphabet, a more contemporary variation, as well as ways to modify this hand will be covered.
Part of the course will be spent covering how to emboss, and students will have a chance during class to emboss their own Neuland letters.
