Class Description
This workshop is jam-packed with information regarding how to letter and design with Neuland. In addition to learning Neuland and several variations of the hand, the general principles of what makes good design will be reviewed, including balance, layout, and contrasts. Sue will share the many design techniques she uses in her work. Students will learn how to embellish letters, and receive recommendations regarding tools and papers to create different looks. In the last session, students will learn how to blind emboss using their own Neuland letters.
Students should come prepared to learn, letter, play, and take notes.
